These terms govern your use of Stackroom. By using the service, you agree to use it responsibly and in accordance with these terms.

1. The service
Stackroom provides tools for organizing software projects, domains, deployments, databases, repositories, and related technical information. Features may change, improve, or be removed as the product evolves.
2. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining control of your account and for activity performed through it. You must not attempt to access another user's account, projects, integrations, or encrypted data without authorization.
3. Private Vault responsibility
Stackroom's Private Vault uses client-side encryption. You are responsible for remembering and protecting your vault passphrase. Stackroom may not be able to recover encrypted project content if that passphrase is lost.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Stackroom to break applicable law, distribute malware, gain unauthorized access to systems, abuse or disrupt the service, or intentionally bypass security controls.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the project information and content you place in Stackroom. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to store and process that content.
6. Secrets and credentials
Stackroom is a project workspace, not a dedicated secrets manager. Do not use ordinary project fields to store raw private keys, seed phrases, passwords, database credentials, or other high-value secrets.
7. Third-party services
Stackroom may integrate with services such as GitHub, Google, Neon, and infrastructure providers. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and policies.
8. Availability
We aim to keep Stackroom reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Features may become temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, infrastructure failures, third-party services, or other technical issues.
9. Disclaimer
Stackroom is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of information that is important to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Stackroom and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from use of or inability to use the service.
11. Changes
These terms may be updated as Stackroom changes. The latest version will be published on this page.
